He is also senior advisor of Hong Kong-based food and beverage operator JIA Group. Alan is a climate and food tech investor, having built a portfolio consisting of numerous early stage companies including Oatside, Boston Bioprocess, Change Foods, Voyage Foods and Zero Acre Farms. He is active in public service and philanthropy, serving on a number of boards and committees including Harbourfront Commission, Hong Kong Arts Development Council, Design Trust (as former chairman), Para Site, Tate and Guggenheim. He holds an a bachelor degree from Princeton University.
